Hello,

My name is Barry Cassese, President of Investor Protection & Management Services (IPMS).
I have 30 years’ experience in the brokerage industry speaking with thousands of prospects and customers about their portfolios. Over the years, I have managed my own retail customers as well as supervised and trained many million dollar producing brokers. I was a professional trader and president of a brokerage firm overseeing $100 million in customer assets. I have worked endlessly alongside chief compliance officers & securities attorneys reviewing customer accounts and monthly statements.  In addition, I’ve reviewed peoples investment objectives, investment activity and suitability. I have also had my fair share of communicating with regulators.

At the early age of 30, I was a multi-million dollar producing broker. I lived a pretty lavish Wall Street stockbrokers lifestyle. My family and I lived in a luxurious Long Island home, owned million dollar boats and vacation homes. I’ve owned cars that others could only dream of..... Ferraris, Porsches, Range Rovers, you name it.  I spared no expense on living well. At the peak of my career, as a broker, I was probably worth in excess of $5 Million.

Here's the sad reality.  Every dollar a broker earns comes out of your pocket.  A broker's income has NOTHING to do with a customer’s investment performance. In fact, it’s quite the contrary... A broker gets paid regardless. This inherent conflict of interest lies with EVERY broker and EVERY brokerage firm on Wall Street, including YOURS! I can show you how to change that with very little effort. I can show you how to potentially save tens of thousands of dollars avoiding hidden brokerage charges.

I’m telling you first hand, just like everyone else, brokers have mortgages, car payments and kids to put through college. In my experience, brokers justify their fees by what is perfectly acceptable in the securities business. I’ve found that brokers ignore their conscience by convincing themselves: "If the securities business allows me to charge millions of dollars in commissions then it's obviously OK". I'm here to tell you that it’s NOT! Just because Wall Street gets away with greed, doesn't make it “right”. It’s taken me a long time to learn this same lesson.

I  was also once disillusioned with a business that saw most customers as "disposable items".
While I have lost the desire to be a broker, I've gained the determination to take on Wall Street's Greed.
From here on in, I'll be fighting the good fight. Someone needs to help fix, what I believe, is a BROKEN SYSTEM! Big Difference!

All the best,
Barry Cassese
